SUPER SPORTING CHAMPIONSHIP MINUMUM STANDARDS

TX State Championship Tour Stop Minimum Standards

1. Club Selection
For small to medium size Texas Clubs with the ability to host a one-day NSCA
registered shoot.
2. Number of Tour Stops
There will be six (6) tour stops across the State. There will be four (4) traveling stops
across the State, generally the North, South, East, and West, along with the Texas State
Super Sporting Championship and the Texas State Sporting Clays Championship.
3. Program
No specific date is required; however, the Texas State Sporting Clays Championship
and the Texas State Super Sporting Championship shoots must be one of the six
stops.

  • The tour stops will be granted on a rotational basis depending on the continued

popularity and attendance of the shoots.

  • There will be a total of six (6) stops and participants must shoot at least four (4) of

the stops with participation in the main event of the Texas State Sporting Clays

Championship and Texas State Super Sporting Championship mandatory shoots.

  • Each Club participating in the program must name and advertise which event

(generally the main event) that will be considered in determining a participant’s total

score. Generally referred to as the “qualifying” event.

  • Each Club participating in the program must include the TSCA logo on all marketing

material for the tournament and promote the shoot in advance of the event.

  •  Each Club participating in the program must provide trappers for the “qualifying”

event, generally the main event.

  •  Each Club participating in the program will receive a subsidy from TSCA to help

cover the cost of trappers for the “qualifying” event, generally the main event.

  • For a participant that shoots in all six (6) tour stops, the four (4) best scores will be

considered in calculating the participant’s total score. A tie breaker will be based on

the highest low score, including a 0.

  •  To compete for the Ironman HOA Open and Ironman HOA Lady, a participant must

shoot in all six (6) tour stops.

  •  The club must follow NSCA Rules and Regulations for a registered shoot.

4. Sponsorship
Other sponsorship is at the discretion of the Host Club. TSCA will advertise the program
according to any agreement reached.
5. TSCA Support
TSCA will support the program with either dollars and/or in-kind goods/services. The
amount of TSCA support includes funds for additional payout for HOA, Runner-Up, HOA
Lady and 1st place in AA through D Class, Ironman HOA Open and Ironman HOA Lady.
Additionally, TSCA will provide trophies for each of the above and for 2nd and 3 rd place
in each class AA through D. Annual funding is subject to Board approval.
